A New Illustration Style With Sambuca

Hello Friends – Creating this piece for the Dallas restaurant, Sambuca, 28 years ago was such a great exploration of a new illustration style. The owner, Holy Forsythe, had the “scratch-board” illustrations printed on a gold-colored paper which gave them a unique look. I loved having the opportunity to work with this establishment fresh out of school, and a marvelous working relationship began as I helped Holy with many future projects. Smiles, Deana (Dee-na)
