Kendra Fun!
Friends – I was honored to be invited by the Southlake – Kendra Scott to paint in their store and have a “Pop Up” trunk show with my kimonos, scarves, crossbody bags, and more. It was a wonderful experience, and the entire staff was so wonderful. The Kendra Scott experience is one of a kind, and it was so special to see my colorful art complement Kendra’s beautiful jewelry designs.
I am grateful for all of the encouragement from friends and family over the last few arts as I have transitioned from 18 years of teaching fitness classes to pursuing my artistic endeavors. My husband, Casey, has been incredibly supportive in assisting me to pursue my dream of creating joyful art with the intention of helping others smile.
When I was seven years old, I stood in a stationary store in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and relished the dream of creating art that could be printed on napkins, mugs, cards, and stickers. My lovely mother has always loved having beautiful paper products, and so it truly has been a blessing to know that my designs brighten one’s day!
I appreciate each of you and take time today to not lose sight of your dreams. Hugs! Deana (Dee-na)
