Creating With The Creator

Friends – One of my favorite things to do is to get up at the crack of dawn and #createwiththecreator. I listen to beautiful gospel songs that have brought so much healing to many hurts of my heart since suddenly losing my son, Grant, four years ago. In these early morning hours, there is a peaceful and calm presence of God. I pray over my painting pieces and take the worries of my mind to Him. I call it #creatingwiththecreator, and it has brought so much hope. I remember early in my walk with the Lord, a dear friend and pastor told me that one of the best ways to give Him the glory is to make art with God. She suggested that I lean on Him to guide me in my paintings. This was a life-changing moment for me, so I wanted to share it with you as a source of encouragement.
